Stainless Interwoven Bracer
This extremely tightly Interwoven quarter inch bracelet is quadruple width. The design forms waves, which run parallel to each other around the bracer. The multiple layers, combined with the dense Stainless Steel make this thicker and heavier than you might expect.

Aluminum ‘Lorica Hamata’ Ancient Roman Chainmail Vest in European 4-in-1
The sleeveless ‘Lorica Hamata’ design of chainmail vest was used between the years 300-27 B.C.E. Made of iron or bronze, with short sleeved versions used until 400 C.E., and with even longer variations used until the late 1500’s. This version uses a larger calculated thickness aluminum to achieve a greater strength than steel, though the rings are butted, and not welded for combat. This increased thickness also reduces the size of the holes between rings to the point that you can’t see through it when worn. Even though the aluminum is much thicker, it is still only about 2/3 the weight of what a Steel version would have been at 11 lbs instead of 17 lbs.
